Staff+ Software Engineer, GRC Platform
Anthropic
Anthropic is seeking an experienced software engineer to build the platform for governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). This role involves consolidating compliance information from various systems into a unified platform. You will develop pipelines, integrations, and services to automate checks, create real-time dashboards, and generate evidence for decision-making and market expansion. As an early team member, you will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments to transform manual compliance processes into scalable, reliable systems. You will lead projects end-to-end and leverage Claude through agentic workflows for tasks like evidence collection and monitoring. Experience building internal platforms, data pipelines, or privacy systems is beneficial, and a compliance background is not required.
Security Controls Assurance Lead
Anthropic
Anthropic's Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team is seeking a Security Controls Assurance Lead to translate regulatory, customer, and voluntary obligations into actionable controls. This role will define control requirements and acceptance criteria for global compliance obligations across the software development lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams to ensure implemented controls meet defined standards. The goal is to build an integrated compliance and risk ecosystem that serves as a trust engine and an independent risk advisor for Anthropic.
Engineering Manager, GRC Platform
Anthropic
We are seeking an Engineering Manager, GRC to join our GRC organization and build the technical foundation for how we scale our risk and compliance programs. In this role, you will lead the team that designs and implements automated workflows, data pipelines, and integrations that transform manual compliance processes into scalable engineering systems. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish the team, architecture, and integrations that will define how we approach governance, risk, and compliance at Anthropic. The core challenge is a data problem: compliance information lives across dozens of systems—cloud infrastructure, identity providers, HR platforms, ticketing tools, code repositories—and your job is to design systems that bring it together, normalize it, and make it actionable. Success in this role comes from understanding how systems connect and how data flows between them. At Anthropic, you'll also have a unique advantage: the ability to design AI-powered workflows where Claude acts as an extension of your team, handling tasks that would traditionally require additional headcount or manual effort. You'll need ingenuity to identify where agentic AI can accelerate evidence collection, interpret unstructured data, triage compliance gaps, and augment human judgment in risk assessments. Working closely with Security, IT, and Engineering teams, you'll translate compliance and regulatory requirements into solutions that support audit programs including SOC 2, ISO, HIPAA, and FedRAMP, building systems that combine traditional automation with AI capabilities to achieve scale that wouldn't otherwise be possible.

Engineering Manager, Connectivity - London
Anthropic
Our mission on the Connectivity team is to make Claude the most connected AI. As agents take on more real-world work, we're taking a leading role in defining how they get access to external systems — safely, with the right permissions, and in ways enterprises can trust. We ship for claude.ai, Claude Code, Cowork, and the API. We own the MCP proxy that routes every tool call and the OAuth and token management that keeps connections authenticated. We're also core contributors to the MCP spec — now an open standard under the Linux Foundation — and maintain the official Python and TypeScript SDKs. We're looking for an experienced engineering leader to lead a team of Connectivity engineers based in London. The Connectivity team spans San Francisco and London, and you'll work closely with engineering leadership and partner teams in San Francisco to set direction and deliver together across both sites. You'll lead a team working on problems where reliability and enterprise trust are the bar: token refresh at scale, admin controls that let IT govern what agents can do, and proxy infrastructure that stays up when partner servers don't.
Staff+ Software Engineer, Capacity Engineering
Anthropic

As an engineer on this team, you will develop the production systems that power these efforts, including data pipelines for telemetry ingestion, observability tools for real-time fleet health visibility, and performance instrumentation to measure hardware utilization across various workloads. You will write production-quality code, operate at scale with Kubernetes-native infrastructure, and significantly influence decisions regarding Anthropic's substantial infrastructure spend. This role involves close collaboration with research engineering, infrastructure, inference, and finance teams, requiring comfort across data engineering, systems engineering, and observability in a high-autonomy environment.
