Sierra is seeking a Software Engineer, Agent for its Healthcare team to design and deliver production-grade AI agents that handle sensitive patient and member interactions. You will own the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot to deployment and iteration, building, tuning, and evolving AI agents in production environments. This role involves partnering directly with healthcare leaders to understand their challenges and translate them into AI solutions. You will develop deep expertise in healthcare systems, workflows, and data standards to create exceptional, trustworthy AI experiences. Your work will also influence the evolution of Sierra's core platform by surfacing unmet needs and prototyping new features.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents for healthcare, ensuring performance, reliability, and empathy.
- Manage the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC), including building, tuning, and iterating on AI agents in production.
- Collaborate with healthcare executives and technical teams to address their challenges with AI solutions.
- Gain expertise in healthcare systems, workflows, and data standards to build effective AI experiences.
- Contribute to the evolution of Sierra's core platform by identifying needs and prototyping new tools and features.
