Usul is a Silicon Valley AI lab dedicated to rebuilding the infrastructure that equips the Western world, enabling faster technology procurement for governments and commercial clients. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work directly with operators and government clients to develop and implement AI-driven data and workflows for technology acquisition. You will also contribute to our commercial platform, assisting major defense companies and startups in securing government contracts.
Responsibilities
- Work in the room with operators on data and workflows for technology acquisition.
- Develop and implement AI solutions for government and commercial clients.
- Build intuitive user interfaces.
- Present solutions to operators and C-suites at Fortune 500 companies.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience.
- Full-stack development experience.
- Proficiency in building AI Agents and utilizing LLMs.
- Ability to present to operators and C-suites.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, including military bases.
- Passion for solving mission-critical national security problems.
- Experience building UIs with React.
- Strong communication skills.
- Scrappy and driven attitude.
