Simple AI is seeking founding software engineers to build the core systems behind their state-of-the-art voice AI agents for enterprise clients. This high-ownership role involves working across product to enhance agent speed, reliability, and capabilities in production environments. You will ship customer-facing features, optimize latency and reliability, develop internal tools, troubleshoot complex issues, and scale the platform to meet growing customer demand. Engineers collaborate closely with product and customers, requiring a fast-paced approach, ownership of system components, and a drive to build technology that directly impacts business revenue.
Responsibilities
- Build the core systems behind Simple AI's voice agents.
- Improve agent speed, reliability, and capabilities in production.
- Ship customer-facing features.
- Optimize latency and reliability.
- Build internal tools.
- Debug complex edge cases.
- Scale the platform to meet growing customer demand.
- Work closely with product and customers.
- Own large parts of the system.
- Build technology that directly impacts revenue for businesses.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for addressing technical challenges.
