Moveworks is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to join our Agentic AI Harness & Quality team. This role is for experienced software engineers looking to apply their skills at the forefront of AI agents. You will play a crucial part in advancing the capabilities and reliability of AI agents for enterprise use at scale. You'll contribute to the evolution of our AI Assistant platform, focusing on areas like agent orchestration, secure code execution, performance optimization, agent memory, LLM self-reflection, and knowledge graphs. You will leverage modern enterprise AI tools, including leading LLMs, and work within a team that prioritizes rapid development, scalable infrastructure, and pushing the boundaries of AI value for customers.
Responsibilities
- Address complex engineering challenges to build and enhance reliable AI agent systems.
- Implement and productionize advanced AI algorithms and architectures at scale.
- Utilize the latest advancements in machine learning, LLMs, and AI agents to improve products and user experiences.
- Contribute to product roadmaps and drive the evolution of key engineering areas.
- Write robust, extensible, readable, and performant code.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across machine learning, security, product, UX, and customer success.
- Mentor other engineers on software development best practices.
- Work with machine learning engineers to build world-class AI systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience designing, building, and improving production systems, preferably at scale.
- Ability to clearly articulate complex engineering problems and systems.
- Comfort with giving and receiving feedback, and maintaining high operational standards.
- Proficiency in a Mac development environment, programming in Python, Golang, and/or Java.
- Eagerness to work at a startup pace with a high degree of ownership.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to shipping production-grade code and product improvements.
- A drive for continuous improvement and rapid project completion.
- High curiosity for engineering beyond immediate responsibilities and a desire to stay current with applied AI.
