Fin, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a Staff Product Engineer to lead within the team and contribute to the engineering organization. This role involves building both back-end and front-end systems, collaborating closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts. You will also coach and mentor other engineers and partner with the Engineering Manager on technical strategy and team development. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing technical architecture, focusing on agility, scalability, and availability, with continuous deployment practices. You will be involved in all phases of software development, from ideation to implementation, utilizing AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical architecture as the company scales.

- Participate in all phases of software development: ideation, prototyping, design, and implementation.
- Build using industry-leading AI-powered developer tools.
- Play an active role in hiring, mentoring, and career development of other engineers.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building successful SaaS products.
- Significant, demonstrated impact on product and/or teams.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Perl).
- Experience with distributed systems.
- 2+ years of experience as the primary technical leader for a team.
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
- Proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
- Pragmatic approach, working closely with cross-disciplinary teams with a strong sense of product strategy.
