Fin, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a multidisciplinary product team. In this role, you will solve real customer problems by applying your technical knowledge to build both back-end and front-end systems. You will work closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts to address exciting scaling challenges and build a robust platform. This is an opportunity to contribute to areas such as messenger composer, rule matching, deliverability, security, app availability, and machine learning, while leveraging AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture for scaling products.
- Write Ruby code to integrate AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
- Ship changes to production, including new features, with a high deployment frequency.
- Build using industry-leading tools and AI-powered developer tools.
- Mentor other engineers and participate in interviewing to grow the team's capacity.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Demonstrate significant impact on product and/or team.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
- Proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
- Experience with distributed systems.
