Fin, now part of Salesforce, is seeking a Product Engineer to join one of their multidisciplinary product teams in Berlin. This role involves solving real customer problems through the application of technical knowledge and tools, building both back-end and front-end systems, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts. You will contribute to technical architecture, write Ruby code to integrate various technologies, and ship changes to production rapidly. The company leverages AI-powered developer tools to enhance productivity and focuses on rapid iteration and deployment.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical plans and contribute to technical architecture for scaling products.
- Write Ruby code to integrate AWS, infrastructure, platform, and SaaS technologies.
- Ship changes to production on the first day and features within the first week.
- Build using AI-powered developer tools to reduce friction.
- Grow team capacity by mentoring engineers and interviewing candidates.
Requirements
- 4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role, preferably building a SaaS product.
- Demonstrate significant impact on product and/or team.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, Javascript).
- Experience collaborating directly with product teams and designers.
- Proven track record of delivering value to customers or users.
- Experience with distributed systems.
