About the job
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Agentic Discovery team, focusing on building the core systems, protocols, and customer-facing tools that power agent-web interactions. In this role, you will design and ship scalable software across edge infrastructure, data pipelines, protocol layers, and developer tooling. You will work on cutting-edge standards like WebMCP, MCP, AEO, and agent-native controls that enable content owners to manage how autonomous AI agents find, parse, and safely execute tasks on their digital properties.
Responsibilities
- Design and ship production-ready services for customers to evaluate, test, observe, and measure AI agent interactions with websites.
- Build and maintain support for emerging agent protocols and integrations (MCP, MCP Apps, UCP, MPP, WebMCP).
- Implement fine-grained content controls, including access management, licensing, auditing, and agent-native audience/business models.
- Write clean, secure, well-tested code, advocating for end-user privacy and maintaining high system reliability, performance, and documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, researchers, product managers, and stakeholders to bring capabilities from concept to production.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience building and operating reliable, high-throughput production services.
- Solid understanding of HTTP, APIs, proxies, caching, web security, and web performance.
- Hands-on experience or deep interest in AI agents, tool calling, Model Context Protocol (MCP), or agent harnesses.
- Ability to rapidly prototype, evaluate architectural trade-offs, and ship solutions in a fast-moving, emerging technical domain.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
