Our platform integrates Ambient AI, intelligent Agents, and autonomous RCM to streamline healthcare operations. We are seeking a Software Engineer to develop the systems powering our AI Voice Agents, which handle patient interactions like scheduling, cancellations, and FAQs by integrating with EHR and telephony systems in real-time. This role offers significant growth opportunities within a fast-paced, impactful team.
Responsibilities

- Architect low-latency pipelines connecting telephony, ASR, LLMs, and TTS for conversational loops.
- Lead integrations with healthcare systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, athena) for scheduling, eligibility, and intake.
- Drive design decisions for APIs, data models, and event-driven workflows.
- Mentor other engineers on the team.
- Partner with AI, product, and operations teams to deliver user-centric features.
- Establish standards for latency, reliability, observability, and release readiness.
Requirements

- Proven track record of designing and shipping production services, APIs, and data models.
- Understanding of human interaction with automated voice and text assistants.
- Deep experience with async, event-driven, or real-time systems.
- Strong fundamentals in testing, LLM evaluation, observability, and reliability.
- Patient-centered mindset, designing for the end-user.
- Bias for action, ownership mindset, and good judgment for development pace.
