SpaceXAI is building AI systems to understand the universe and aid humanity. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to share knowledge concisely. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of building highly scalable and reliable production infrastructure, with familiarity in compiled languages like Rust, C++, or Go being highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Build the SpaceXAI API to serve models to developers globally.
- Own the end-to-end system for high-throughput inference, handling billions of tokens per minute with low latency and high availability.
- Manage model serving infrastructure, request routing, SDK development, rate limiting, observability, and efficient scaling.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of Rust or C++.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, horizontally scalable distributed systems.
- Knowledge of service observability and reliability best practices.
- Experience operating common databases like PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, and MongoDB.
