Turing is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their team in Mumbai, India. This hybrid role involves building and supporting enterprise AI systems and applications for clients, particularly in asset management. You will take ownership of complex features from design through deployment and production support, working across the Python backend, React frontend, APIs, integrations, and database layers. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, independent judgment, and the use of AI-enhanced development tools like Claude and Codex, with a strong focus on delivering maintainable and production-ready software.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production full-stack features using Python and React.
- Build and maintain Python backend applications, services, and APIs.
- Develop responsive and usable web applications with React.
- Translate requirements into technical designs and drive delivery through the full software development lifecycle.
- Implement integrations across APIs, relational databases, and enterprise systems.
- Investigate production issues, contribute to root cause analysis, and support deployments.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain technical documentation.
- Ensure code quality, security, and correctness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Production full-stack application delivery experience.
- Hands-on experience building backend applications, services, and APIs with Python.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production web interfaces with React.
- Experience with authentication, application design, testing, deployment, SQL, data modeling, and relational databases.
- Experience integrating applications with APIs and enterprise systems.
- Experience deploying applications on a cloud platform and supporting production systems.
- Practical experience using AI development tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) with the judgment to evaluate AI-generated code.
- Clear communication skills for effective collaboration.
