Tenstorrent is seeking a Field Application Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML to join their team. This customer-facing role involves collaborating closely with sales and enterprise clients to drive the adoption of Tenstorrent's cutting-edge AI hardware and software solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to understand customer challenges, provide effective solutions, and act as a bridge between customers and product teams, influencing future product development. The ideal candidate is passionate about generative models and LLMs, and excels at communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams and enterprise customers to understand their technical challenges.
- Drive the adoption of Tenstorrent's AI products and solutions.
- Provide effective technical solutions and support to customers.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with sales operations and product teams to relay customer feedback and shape future product enhancements.
- Help customers explore and push the boundaries of AI performance on custom silicon.
- Assist developers in optimizing AI models and building AI pipelines.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant technical, enterprise experience (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
- Proven expertise in AI technologies and frameworks, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with embedded systems, FPGA architecture, or AI accelerators.
- Good understanding of data center, server architecture, deployment, thermal/power, and infrastructure management.
- Strong customer-facing skills.
- Excellent communication skills to break down complex concepts.
- Familiarity with generative models and LLMs.
- Eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology.
