Tenstorrent is seeking a Field Application Engineer with a strong background in AI/ML to join their team. This customer-facing role involves collaborating closely with sales and enterprise clients to drive the adoption of Tenstorrent's AI products and solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise to understand customer challenges, provide effective solutions, and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders. The position offers an opportunity to work at the forefront of AI technology, contributing to a high-performance AI platform that unifies software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with sales teams and enterprise customers to drive adoption of AI products and solutions.
- Leverage deep technical knowledge in AI to understand customer challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work directly with customers in meetings, presentations, and workshops.
- Partner with sales operations and product teams to provide customer feedback and shape future product enhancements.
- Explore and push the boundaries of AI performance on custom silicon.
- Assist developers in optimizing AI performance on custom silicon.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant technical, enterprise experience (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
- Proven expertise in AI technologies and frameworks, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with embedded systems, FPGA architecture, or AI accelerators.
- Good understanding of data center, server architecture, deployment, thermal/power, and infrastructure management.
- Strong customer-facing skills.
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts.
- Ability to break down technical concepts for both researchers and executives.
