Tenstorrent is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. This hybrid role involves collaborating closely with sales and enterprise customers to drive the adoption of our cutting-edge AI products and solutions. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge in AI, machine learning, and generative models to understand customer challenges and provide effective solutions. This is a customer-facing position requiring strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between complex technical concepts and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams and enterprise customers to drive product adoption.
- Understand customer technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
- Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide feedback from customers to product teams to shape future enhancements.
- Engage directly with customers in meetings, presentations, and workshops.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant technical, enterprise experience (e.g., Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager).
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
- Proven expertise in AI technologies and frameworks, including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision.
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with GPU, CUDA, or AI accelerators.
- Familiarity with hardware/software co-optimization for edge inference.
- Good understanding of data center, server architecture, deployment, thermal/power, and infrastructure management.
