Synthio is seeking Solutions Engineers with strong engineering backgrounds and exceptional customer-facing skills to join their team. In this role, you will collaborate directly with leading pharmaceutical companies to understand their complex workflows, design innovative AI-powered solutions, prototype these solutions with clients, and guide them through to production. You will operate at the crucial intersection of customer needs, engineering, product development, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer workflows, technical environments, data, and business requirements.
- Translate ambiguous customer problems into clear technical architectures and implementation plans.
- Design solutions using Synthio's AI products, APIs, data infrastructure, and integrations.
- Build prototypes, integrations, scripts, data workflows, and lightweight applications as needed.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture discussions, demos, pilots, and implementation workshops.
- Collaborate with customer engineering, security, infrastructure, data, and business teams to advance deployments.
- Debug integration and deployment issues across APIs, data, cloud infrastructure, authentication, and AI behavior.
- Relay recurring customer needs back to product and engineering teams to enhance reusable platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, technical consulting, or similar roles.
- Hands-on software engineering experience with strong Python and API fundamentals.
- Comfort working with LLMs and modern AI application architectures.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and cloud environments.
- Exceptional customer communication skills and ability to build credibility with engineers and executives.
- Ability to translate loosely defined requirements into concrete technical decisions.
- Strong product judgment and high ownership in fast-moving enterprise environments.
