Salesforce is seeking a highly experienced Field CTO to serve as the most senior technical voice on Data 360 in EMEA. This role requires deep expertise in the Salesforce Platform and modern data platforms, enabling you to architect solutions alongside customer Chief Architects and educate internal teams. You will be a data-first professional, fluent in headless and agentic AI, with a strong sales-driven presence and C-level credibility. The position involves thought leadership, strategic architecture in complex deals, and building reference architectures and technical go-to-market narratives. You will act as a long-term trusted advisor to strategic accounts, influencing the market's view of data-first AI.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the definitive technical authority on Salesforce Platform, ecosystem, and Data 360.
- Engage with C-level executives (CTOs, CDOs, CAIOs) as a peer architect.
- Present at industry events, analyst briefings, and customer boards; publish thought leadership.
- Act as a senior technical authority in large EMEA deals, making decisions on data modelling, identity resolution, and activation strategy.
- Build proof-of-value demos to accelerate buying decisions.
- Architect solutions leveraging headless architecture and AI-driven agents (MCP, A2A) with a data-first approach.
- Develop reference architectures and technical go-to-market narratives for new offerings.
- Collaborate with SI and hyperscaler partners on architecture patterns.
- Codify and disseminate knowledge across the field architect community.
Requirements
- 15+ years in enterprise architecture, technical consulting, or technical pre-sales in Data/AI.
- Proven Enterprise Architecture Credential (Zachman, TOGAF); Salesforce CTA is a plus.
- Demonstrate deep Salesforce Platform expertise.
- Architect-level, hands-on experience on a major data platform (e.g., GCP, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Azure).
- Track record as an Enterprise Architect or trusted advisor to Enterprise Architects in large, complex environments.
- Proven ability to build reference architectures and technical GTM narratives.
- Demonstrated C-level advisory experience (CDO, CTO, CIO, CAIO).
- Fluent English required; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
- Degree or equivalent experience.
