Redis is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to enhance how engineers and AI agents interact with Redis products. This role involves building and evolving key developer-facing surfaces like the Redis Cloud console, Redis Insight, and an agentic layer for MCP servers, CLIs, and agent skills. The team prioritizes usability, performance, and developer experience, leveraging AI agents for code generation and issue resolution. This is a high-ownership position for a product-minded engineer aiming to create impactful developer tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle initiatives from discovery and prototyping to release and monitoring, owning production outcomes.
- Develop and enhance the Redis console, its platform, shell, component library, and module contracts.
- Build agentic interfaces for Redis, enabling AI agents to perform UI actions.
- Instrument shipped features and use adoption data to guide future development.
- Ensure reliability of agent-driven development through quality gates, CI, and review practices.
- Collaborate with backend, platform, and product teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in building and shipping production software.
- Full SDLC ownership, including CI/CD, releases, and production monitoring.
- Proven track record of leading initiatives to completion and aligning teams.
- Product mindset focused on adoption and user value.
- Daily hands-on experience with AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) and understanding their limitations.
- Comfort working with multiple technologies, including TypeScript, Rust, Python, and Go.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and domains.
- Capacity to manage multiple parallel initiatives while maintaining context and documenting decisions.
- Clear English communication skills for distributed team collaboration.
