PALO IT is seeking an AI Tech Lead in CDMX to spearhead the design and implementation of robust AI-driven applications. This role is within a global technology consultancy with a trademarked, AI-first approach, Gen-e2™, redefining how enterprises build digital products and transform organizations with AI. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative software applications using Python, Java, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and TypeScript.
- Design and implement databases using Firestore and Google Cloud SQL to support scalable and efficient applications.
- Oversee the integration of AI services using the Google Agent Development Kit (ADK), optimizing their utility across projects.
- Mentor and coach the engineering team in best practices for utilizing Claude Code, GitHub (with PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and product requirements.
- Conduct architectural reviews and code assessments to maintain high standards for software quality and security.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, exploring new AI technologies and methodologies that benefit the engineering process.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on AI technologies and cloud computing.
- Proficient in Python, Java, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), TypeScript, and modern databases (Firestore, Google Cloud SQL).
- Solid understanding of Google Agent Development Kit (ADK) and familiarity with Claude Code, GitHub (PR-based workflows), and GitHub Projects.
- History of leading technical teams and delivering large-scale AI-driven projects with a focus on best practices and coding standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and guiding teams towards excellence.
