PALO IT is seeking an AI Native Tech Lead/Architect in CDMX to lead the technical delivery of full-stack solutions. This role involves guiding teams towards scalable, secure, and maintainable implementations, bridging business objectives with software architecture and engineering delivery. You will establish engineering standards, ensure solutions align with client needs, and drive the adoption of PALO IT's AI-first engineering methodology, Gen-e2™, to enhance productivity and quality. The position requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership, collaborating with clients and engineering teams to integrate AI-assisted development into software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design and evolve software solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, evaluating constraints and trade-offs.
- Prioritize work, coordinate dependencies, monitor progress, manage risks, and drive implementation and release.
- Design REST APIs and integrations, ensuring proper documentation, versioning, validation, error handling, compatibility, and security.
- Promote clean code, maintainable design, automated testing, code reviews, Git, CI/CD, secure development, logging, monitoring, and observability.
- Guide engineers through design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, knowledge sharing, and feedback.
- Anticipate dependencies, evaluate alternatives, resolve technical challenges, and make timely decisions.
- Align Product, QA, UX, engineering, and client stakeholders on scope, expectations, progress, and delivery.
- Design solutions using cloud services, relational databases, asynchronous processing, messaging, and containers.
- Integrate AI-assisted development, specification-driven workflows, testing, documentation, and quality controls into software delivery.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership and responsibility for complex deliverables.
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core, React, and Node.js, including REST APIs, backend services, and modern web applications.
- Experience with Clean Architecture, modular monoliths, microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), event-driven patterns, and integration strategies.
- Proficiency with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Entity Framework Core, data modeling, transaction management, API integrations, and reliable service communication.
- Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, cloud-native architecture, scalability, networking, security, deployment, and cloud integration.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, version control, CI/CD, secure development, production readiness, and operational support.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work, manage dependencies, anticipate risks, remove blockers, and deliver results.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical decisions, communicate progress, facilitate discussions, and collaborate with international clients and teams.
- English proficiency (B2+ preferred) for technical discussions and documentation.
