PALO IT is seeking a DevOps Engineer in CDMX to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS. This role involves developing CI/CD pipelines for software deployment, automating tasks with Infrastructure as Code tools, and monitoring application performance. The engineer will collaborate with development teams to integrate new technologies and ensure compliance with security standards, while also maintaining documentation for infrastructure and processes. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Automate routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor and optimize application performance while troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate new technologies and promote DevOps best practices.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and policies within cloud environments.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, systems, and processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in infrastructure and system administration.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), networking concepts, and container orchestration (ECS, EKS).
- Good grasp of CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- AWS certifications are a plus.
