NVIDIA is seeking a Deep Learning Performance Intern to join their team in Shanghai, China. This role focuses on accelerating deep learning across various platforms and applications, including automotive, robotics, and generative AI. The intern will contribute to deep learning modeling, performance optimization, projections, and analysis, with opportunities to optimize hardware and software architectures and make a significant impact.
Responsibilities
- Benchmark and analyze the performance of machine learning/deep learning algorithms on different GPU/NPU architectures.
- Develop performance models and provide projections for deep learning workloads.
- Identify and propose optimizations for system performance bottlenecks.
- Explore new hardware features and capabilities for deep learning applications.
Requirements
- BSc, MS, or PhD in a relevant discipline (CS, EE, Math, etc.).
- Familiarity with GPU or accelerator-based deep learning platforms and software stacks.
- Strong background in computer architecture.
- Familiarity with LLM or generative AI deep learning algorithms and kernel optimizations.
- Experience in system architecture design and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks.
