We are seeking a specialist to deploy AI solutions directly into business operations, breaking down bottlenecks and driving innovation. This role is part of the KRAFTON AX (AI Transformation) team, which is responsible for integrating AI across the company to revolutionize how employees work. The Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) team operates at the forefront, embedding within game development studios, global publishing, and back-office functions to identify critical business pain points and rapidly develop AI-driven solutions. We are looking for a driven and fast-paced individual to lead company-wide AI hackathons and launch Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) quickly, demonstrating the tangible financial and time-saving benefits of AI technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and advise on AI innovation strategies by analyzing business challenges and proposing technical directions.
- Analyze complex business requirements from non-technical stakeholders and design/implement AI-based architectures.
- Research the feasibility of AI technology adoption and analyze its Return on Investment (ROI), quantifying cost savings and time reductions.
- Collaborate closely with business units to define problems and rapidly prototype AI agents and automation applications within short timeframes (days to weeks).
- Lead technical aspects of company-wide innovation initiatives, including AI hackathons.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Proven experience leading development teams or task forces to successful project completion, based on practical software engineering experience.
- Broad full-stack development understanding, enabling independent planning, design, and rapid execution of the entire cycle from requirements analysis to prototype launch.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders (including C-level executives and business leaders) and provide expert advice on technical strategy.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a hands-on mindset to define strategies and drive breakthroughs in high-uncertainty environments.
- No disqualifications for international business travel.
