We are seeking a Research Engineer for our AI Research Division to pioneer the path to players' dreams by creating unforgettable worlds with bold imagination and breakthrough technology. The AI Research Division focuses on researching and developing core AI technologies for gaming and non-gaming sectors, strengthening existing business competitiveness, and supporting AI technology commercialization. This role will be part of the Foundation Model R&D team, focusing on designing and building foundation models that handle diverse data like text, images, audio, and game logs, contributing to new play experiences. We value individuals who can define and solve problems independently, possess strong fundamentals in both ML Research and Software Engineering, and are meticulous about code quality.
Responsibilities
- Design and build foundation models handling diverse data (text, image, audio, game logs).
- Accumulate theoretical and practical insights in model architecture, learning algorithms, data pipelines, and evaluation in large-scale distributed training environments.
- Build and optimize distributed training, inference systems, and RL infrastructure for foundation models.
- Research and develop joint optimization of model performance and computational performance.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML) or workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Solid fundamentals in both ML Research and Software Engineering.
- Ability to define, analyze, and solve ill-defined problems independently.
- High standard for code quality and bug prevention.
- No disqualifications for international travel.
