We are seeking an AI Native Engineer to join our AI Frontier division, a results-oriented team focused on connecting Krafton's core AI capabilities with tangible business outcomes. This role is for a senior engineer who will leverage AI not just as a supporting tool, but as a core development partner, while also possessing experience in designing and operating services in high-traffic environments. The ideal candidate will be adept at quickly learning and applying new AI models and tools to production, with a focus on delivering stable and scalable services to customers.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with colleagues on the development, deployment, and operation of AI-powered products.
- Develop and improve service features using AI models.
- Integrate model inference capabilities into services, monitoring and improving operational metrics like performance, stability, and cost.
- Deploy and operate services using CI/CD and data pipelines.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of software development experience or equivalent expertise.
- Service development experience using Backend technologies (Node.js/Python/Kotlin/Go).
- Understanding and development experience of basic backend service structures including APIs, databases, and servers.
- Experience with RDBMS or NoSQL databases.
- Experience testing developed features and deploying them to live services.
- Experience developing or operating services used by actual users.
- Experience identifying and resolving service issues using logs and monitoring tools.
- Experience with CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Actively utilize AI coding tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google Antigravity, or Cursor in the development process.
- Ability to review and modify AI coding tool outputs, not just use them as-is.
- Keen interest in rapidly learning and applying new AI development tools and methodologies.
- Ability to understand given requirements and implement them in functional units.
- Proactive in analyzing and resolving development issues.
- Ability to document and share necessary information with colleagues.
- Comfortable collaborating with diverse professional roles.
- Enjoys learning new technologies and applying them to actual development.
