We are seeking a tech leader to join our Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) AI/ML Data Platforms Team. In this role, you will provide deep engineering expertise and collaborate across agile teams to enhance, build, and deliver market-leading technology products securely, stably, and scalably. You will leverage your expertise to challenge the status quo, innovate for business impact, lead strategic development of new and existing products, and stay at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.
Responsibilities
- Advise and lead the strategy and development of multiple products, applications, and technologies across a portfolio.
- Create novel code solutions and drive the development of new production code capabilities across teams and functions.
- Architect and govern agentic AI-enabled engineering workflows using enterprise-authorized tools to improve delivery speed, code quality, and operational outcomes at scale.
- Apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle tools, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to enhance automation value at scale.
- Translate highly complex technical issues, trends, and approaches to leadership to drive innovation and inform strategic technology decisions.
- Drive adoption and implementation of technical methods in specialized fields aligned with the latest product development methodologies.
- Create durable, reusable software frameworks leveraged across teams and functions.
- Influence across business, product, and technology teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
- Serve as the function’s subject matter expert.
- Build and operate 24x7, tier-1 online services.
- Champion the firm’s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
- Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in Rust, Java, Go, or C++.
- Demonstrated experience designing and leading adoption of agentic AI-enabled development practices across teams, including setting standards for human-in-the-loop validation, auditability, and secure data handling.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use and control expectations in engineering workflows, including security, resiliency, data sensitivity, and risk-based governance.
- Proven track record building and operating 24x7, tier-1 online services.
- Demonstrated prior experience influencing across functions and teams and delivering value at scale.
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to solve complex technology problems across various technical disciplines.
- Extensive practical cloud-native experience.
- Expertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
