As a Lead Agentic and AI/ML Engineer within Cybersecurity Technology & Controls, you will be a key technical contributor responsible for delivering secure software solutions. You will shape the future of software security by developing and implementing innovative security protocols, accelerating threat modeling, and performing vulnerability analysis. This role involves applying AI capabilities to enhance security engineering workflows, ensuring tamper-proof and audit-defensible methods across various business functions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and recommend modifications, while also conducting discovery, penetration testing, and threat modeling to identify and assess vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities
- Execute creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and debug code written by others.
- Minimize security vulnerabilities by evolving security protocols and creating processes to determine control effectiveness.
- Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities for threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and security documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security needs and recommend business modifications.
- Conduct discovery, vulnerability, penetration testing, and threat scenarios on organizational assets.
- Apply AI-assisted practices within SDLC/toolchain routines to strengthen security testing and control validation.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
- Work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Java and Python programming in cloud environments (Public/Private).
- Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise-level security solutions.
- Strong hands-on AI/ML engineering skills, including ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow) and MLOps (CI/CD, model deployment/monitoring).
- Deep GenAI experience with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic), token management, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Expertise in Agentic AI, including tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks, multi-agent workflows, MCP, agent security, evaluation/guardrails, and responsible AI/security.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted code/security recommendations.
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (Development, Testing, Implementation).
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, Application Resiliency, Security).
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
