About the job
The Machine Learning Frameworks team focuses on accelerating the research iteration loop and optimizing production performance across heterogeneous hardware. This involves building optimizers, code generators, runtime libraries, and orchestration layers. The work spans the entire compute pipeline, from high-level system orchestration to low-level hardware behavior and compute graph dissection, aiming to extract maximum performance from the underlying systems.
Responsibilities
- Build optimizers, code generators, runtime libraries, and orchestration layers for heterogeneous hardware.
- Optimize the performance of machine learning computations across the full stack.
- Manage and maintain the entire compute pipeline from research to production.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and deliver on their needs.
- Own and maintain production systems, including debugging and long-term support.
Requirements
- Proficiency in production coding with systems languages like C++ or Rust.
- Understanding of language compilation and hardware execution.
- Ability to independently learn and work with unfamiliar parts of the technology stack.
- Experience working with stakeholders and translating needs into solutions.
- Commercial experience owning and maintaining production systems.
