DevRev is building the future of work with "Computer," an AI teammate that unifies data sources, tools, and workflows into a single AI-ready platform. This role focuses on developing solutions over the core platform, integrating DevRev with customer systems, and shaping how AI, analytics, and workflows are used in customer processes. The position involves significant hands-on technical implementation, building AI agents, integrations, and automations, and optimizing AI performance through techniques like prompt engineering and fine-tuning semantic search engines. You will also be responsible for data insights, prototyping, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting DevRev with customer tech stacks and workflows.
- Integrate DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
- Optimize AI performance using prompt engineering, fine-tuning semantic search, and generative AI techniques.
- Write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and build dashboards to surface customer insights.
- Develop rapid proofs-of-concept, conduct technical demos, and refine solutions based on feedback.
- Maintain communication with customers, engineering, product, customer success, support, and revenue teams.
- Guide customers through technical workflows like code repository integrations and advanced configurations.
- Build the Knowledge Graph by integrating DevRev with other SaaS and non-SaaS systems.
Requirements
- 3+ years in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and function calling.
- Experience with large-scale data synchronization, API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience deploying on serverless and edge platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
- Experience with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, observability).
- Skilled in data mapping, schema alignment, and working with heterogeneous systems.
- Understanding of data modeling and graph data structures.
- Experience implementing clear logging, error surfacing, and telemetry.
- Familiarity with Model Context Programming (MCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills for triaging and unblocking technical and non-technical issues.
- Experience writing concise, well-structured documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
