As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work closely with the Customer Experience team, developing solutions on the core platform using languages like TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python. A key function involves building a Knowledge Graph by integrating DevRev with other systems through webhooks, APIs, and real-time communication architectures. You will leverage your creativity and expertise to shape how AI, analytics, and workflows are applied in customer processes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and launch AI agents, integrations, and automations connecting DevRev with customer tech stacks.
- Integrate DevRev with SaaS and non-SaaS platforms using APIs, webhooks, and real-time communication architectures.
- Optimize AI performance through prompt engineering, fine-tuning semantic search, and generative AI techniques.
- Write SQL queries, perform data analysis, and build dashboards to surface customer insights.
- Develop rapid proofs-of-concept and refine solutions based on feedback.
- Collaborate with customers, engineering, product, customer success, support, and revenue teams.
- Guide customers through critical workflows like code repository integrations and advanced configurations.
- Build and configure intelligent solutions leveraging snap-ins, connectors, workflows, and AI agents on the DevRev platform.
- Implement clear logging, actionable error surfacing, and telemetry for debugging.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, systems integration, or platform engineering.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, and function calling.
- Deep experience with data synchronization, API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, webhooks), and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience deploying on serverless and edge platforms (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).
- Experience with modern DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, observability).
- Skilled in data mapping, schema alignment, and working with heterogeneous systems.
- Understanding of data modeling and graph data structures.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
