Dataiku is seeking interns to join their engineering teams, focusing on various aspects of their AI platform. Interns will work on specific features with direct impact on the product, collaborating with senior engineers to code, debug, optimize, and document their work. The role offers exposure to a dynamic technology stack, including Python/Java for backend and Angular/Vue/React for frontend, with opportunities to contribute to areas like AI/ML, MLOps, data preparation, and cloud platform development. Previous intern projects have included improving unsupervised model tooling, building AI-powered coding assistants, enhancing dynamic model management, developing AI-powered code generation, improving search capabilities for data pipelines, contributing to internationalization efforts, creating versatile file processing tools, implementing geospatial transformations, and building full-stack features for cloud engineering.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior software engineers on potential future product features.
- Code, debug, optimize, and document work under guidance.
- Contribute to specific features within AI/ML, MLOps, Data Preparation, Data Visualization, or Cloud Platform teams.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered code completion and generation features.
- Improve management of AI models for enhanced capabilities.
- Enhance search and filtering capabilities for complex data pipelines.
- Contribute to the internationalization of the Dataiku platform.
- Develop file processing tools for data transformation and filtering.
- Implement geospatial transformation tools for spatial analytics.
- Build full-stack features for cloud platforms and contribute to instance management.
- Implement observability features like tracing, metrics, and dashboards.
- Improve automated test coverage for platform reliability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (implied by internship).
- Ability to code, debug, optimize, and document work.
- Familiarity with Python/Java for backend development.
- Familiarity with Angular/Vue/React for frontend development.
- Interest in AI/ML, MLOps, Data Preparation, Data Visualization, or Cloud Platform development.
