Conveo.ai is a fast-growing, Y Combinator-backed company seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join its small, impactful engineering team. In this role, you will own the entire product development lifecycle, from understanding customer problems to shipping polished software. You will work closely with engineering leads and the CTO, directly influencing product direction and technical strategy. Our platform uses AI to enable fast, affordable, and high-quality consumer and B2B research, with global brands like Unilever and Google as clients. Responsibilities
- Own the full stack, from customer interface to cloud infrastructure.
- Build and lead frontend architecture using React and TypeScript, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Design APIs, manage background jobs, and implement async workflows.
- Ship complete, end-to-end features, including AI-powered functionalities.
- Participate in customer calls to understand needs and translate feedback into product decisions.
- Utilize AI and agentic solutions for reasoning, building, reviewing, and testing.
- Stay current with frontier AI models and integrate them into product features.
- Raise the bar for AI usage within the engineering team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building full-stack applications with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Strong backend experience in API design, PostgreSQL, and async workflows.
- Solid frontend skills with React.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS and/or GCP), including services like S3 and deployment tooling.
- Experience building AI-driven applications, including prompt engineering and working with LLM APIs.
- Ability to independently lead projects from concept to launch.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced team.
