Cohere is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Internal Applications team. This role focuses on building tools that empower our internal teams, including annotators and ML researchers, to create better AI models. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to develop user-facing products, meticulously crafting code for both front-end and back-end systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about building resilient, mission-critical systems and staying at the forefront of technology to enhance performance and reliability. Responsibilities
- Contribute to user-facing products by writing code for browsers and servers.
- Collaborate with engineering colleagues through pairing, design, documentation, and talks.
- Identify and remove roadblocks to improve team velocity.
- Build resilient, mission-critical systems.
- Adopt new technologies to enhance performance and reliability.
Requirements
- Experience shipping products with a large number of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in both front-end and back-end development.
- Experience with Next.js, TypeScript, React, and Python.
- Hands-on experience with complex SQL queries.
- Excellent communication skills and a belief in documentation for feedback and design discussion.
- Eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
- Ability to translate complex needs into clear explanations for diverse audiences.
- Excitement about AI and motivation to scale a company.
