Accenture Song is seeking a Customer AI Engineer to join their AI & Modelling Craft team in the UK. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying AI solutions, including machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI, to help clients better understand, serve, and grow their customer base. You will work across the full delivery lifecycle, from problem definition to deployment and monitoring, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders. The position requires strong technical curiosity, a builder mindset, and the ability to translate complex business problems into scalable, reliable, and effective AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools, services, and applications end-to-end.
- Develop generative AI solutions using prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques.
- Implement and optimize agentic AI workflows and multi-step reasoning pipelines.
- Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models, and define their production monitoring approach.
- Break down complex problems into testable components, balancing speed with security and maintainability.
- Run experiments to test new approaches and apply learnings to ongoing solutions.
- Translate business problems into AI solutions with measurable value.
- Communicate technical concepts to client stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Document patterns and build reusable assets and best practices.
- Contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing within the AI & Data practice.
Requirements
- Experience designing, building, and deploying machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions.
- Ability to work across the full delivery lifecycle, from problem definition to deployment and monitoring.
- Strong technical curiosity and a builder mindset.
- Ability to stay current with developments in machine learning, generative AI, and agentic systems.
- Application of sound engineering principles to create secure, maintainable, and effective solutions.
- Ability to work directly with clients, explaining AI solutions and their value.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to test assumptions, experiment quickly, and iterate towards solutions.
- Experience translating business problems into AI solutions with measurable value.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
