Accenture Technology is seeking a highly qualified AI/ML Senior Manager Engineer to join their team in Lisbon. This role involves influencing and advising multiple teams while delivering innovative Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, cloud-based AI services, and Database Architecture, with a focus on designing scalable, production-ready platforms for advanced analytics and intelligent applications. The position requires a professional capable of leading architectural and technology decisions and driving innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML systems using cloud-based AI services.
- Build scalable data pipelines for model training and production environments with a focus on operational excellence.
- Customize and apply deep learning and Generative AI models based on business requirements and data.
- Conduct R&D of advanced algorithms, models, and simulations for high-performance computing.
- Work with large-scale datasets and apply preprocessing techniques for quality training and production data.
- Design, implement, and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval systems for ML models and knowledge management.
- Define and evolve database architecture strategies for scalable, secure, and high-performing AI platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure, data, and computing requirements, including edge devices and HPC.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to key architectural and technology decisions across multiple teams.
- Drive innovation by evaluating emerging AI technologies and identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.
Requirements
- Expert proficiency in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies.
- Strong experience with cloud-based AI services and enterprise AI solution architecture.
- Advanced knowledge of Database Architecture, data modeling, and scalable data platforms.
- Experience developing and deploying deep learning models, LLMs, and AI-driven applications.
- Strong understanding of MLOps, data engineering, and production-grade AI/ML pipelines.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing environments.
- Advanced English communication skills (minimum B2).
