As a Data Platform Engineer, you will build and operate reliable systems across this platform, contributing to our distributed query, lakehouse, CDC, and real-time streaming infrastructure. You will own projects from implementation to production, enhancing the platform's scalability, reliability, and developer experience.

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Benchmarking & Performance team. This role will focus on building performance insights and observability systems for AI infrastructure, covering everything from individual GPUs and interconnects to distributed training and inference workloads. You will be responsible for detecting, diagnosing, and surfacing performance signals across global data centers, transforming raw telemetry into actionable insights for engineers, product teams, and executives. This is a hands-on role focused on building observability tooling that provides near real-time answers about infrastructure performance, rather than a traditional data engineering or BI position.

The company's mission is to empower Physical AI and robotics teams to instantly find, curate, and stream the data they need. As a Software Engineer on the Data Systems team, you will build key capabilities for a high-throughput data engine over petabytes of video, lidar, and telemetry data, working directly on the architecture for real-time indexing, distributed storage/compute, and efficient dataloading to GPUs. This role offers high ownership across the stack in an agile, fast-paced startup environment.
