Sierra is seeking a Business Value Strategist to join their pricing team. This role will partner with sales and customers during complex enterprise sales cycles to develop tailored value frameworks, construct robust ROI models, and build investment cases based on operational and financial metrics. The strategist will translate Sierra's impact into measurable outcomes like reduced operating costs, increased revenue, and enhanced customer loyalty. Additionally, they will create and scale industry-specific business cases and establish Sierra's overall business value framework from the ground up, while remaining hands-on with modeling and analysis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales and customers to develop customer-specific value frameworks.
- Build rigorous ROI models and investment cases grounded in operating and financial metrics.
- Translate Sierra's impact into measurable outcomes such as lower operating costs, incremental revenue, and stronger customer loyalty.
- Create and scale repeatable, industry-specific business cases.
- Establish Sierra's business value framework from the ground up.
- Stay hands-on in modeling and analysis.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in value engineering, monetization strategy, consulting, strategic finance, or a similar role focused on quantifying and communicating business impact.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with a track record of building rigorous ROI models and investment cases.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and engaging senior decision-makers.
- Ability to partner effectively with sales teams and customer stakeholders across finance, operations, and executive leadership.
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
