Cloudflare MCP Server Portals provide organizations with a secure, centralized method to connect AI agents to internal and third-party tools. As a Senior Systems Engineer on the MCP Portals team, you will be responsible for the design, delivery, and operation of distributed systems that handle user authentication, manage OAuth credentials and sessions, enforce Zero Trust policies, and proxy MCP traffic across Cloudflare's global network. This role involves owning complex projects that span multiple service boundaries, making critical architectural trade-offs, and guiding other engineers in delivering reliable and secure changes. You will collaborate closely with engineers and product managers from Access, Gateway, and Developer Platform teams as the protocol and product evolve. We are seeking a hands-on engineer capable of clarifying ambiguous system problems and taking ownership of production outcomes.
