Mistral AI is seeking a Software Engineer to design and build core systems that drive the company's growth, focusing on the Enterprise Agents area. This role involves developing internal tools, integrations, connectors, workflows, and dashboards to enhance information flow across the organization. The engineer will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, translate complex workflows into scalable software, and deliver pragmatic solutions that optimize team operations. The position is at the intersection of engineering, finance, data, and operations, contributing to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrations, connectors, and workflows across internal systems (CRM, billing, HRIS, planning tools).
- Contribute to the design and implementation of reliable, maintainable, and scalable internal software.
- Ship end-to-end features, including backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, operations, engineering, and other teams to translate needs into software solutions.
- Improve internal processes by building self-service tools and dashboards to reduce manual work and support decision-making.
- Contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Full-stack engineering experience with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, TypeScript, React).
- Experience building web applications end-to-end, from APIs and data models to user interfaces.
- Experience shipping internal systems, integrations, connectors, dashboards, or workflow automation tools.
- Strong technical judgment regarding trade-offs, maintainability, reliability, and delivery speed.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, break down complex problems, and deliver shippable solutions.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working with internal stakeholders.
- Low-ego, team-spirited, autonomous, and motivated by building helpful tools.
