Sierra is seeking an Order Management Analyst to manage the operational backbone that connects sales to billing. This role is central to the company's business model, requiring collaboration across Sales, Finance, Legal, Pricing, GTM Systems, and Agent Development. You will be responsible for the entire order management process, from contract execution to accurate bookings and reporting, and will leverage data to provide critical business insights. The position is based in San Francisco and requires an in-office presence.
Responsibilities
- Own the path from signature to booking, including building, verifying, and booking quotes.
- Ensure accurate flow of bookings into downstream systems and reporting by collaborating with GTM Operations, Finance, and Sales Compensation.
- Leverage and influence order management best practices and policies.
- Set up, verify, and maintain outcome-based usage tracking in partnership with Agent Development.
- Run monthly consumption reporting and billing cycles, delivering key reports to the company and customers.
- Serve as the owner for usage-related questions from customers, Sales, and Agent Development.
- Draft, review, and execute order forms, aligning with the Pricing team on commercial terms and deal forecasts.
- Partner across Sales, Legal, Pricing, and Finance to execute deals cleanly and drive scalability.
- Identify and automate repetitive processes within the order management lifecycle.
- Define billing processes and policies for new products and pricing models with Revenue Operations and GTM systems.
- Transition from standard process execution to owning complex and ambiguous scenarios.
Requirements
- 2-4 years in deal desk, order management, billing operations, or revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company.
- Experience owning an operational booking and/or billing queue end-to-end with high accuracy against monthly deadlines.
- Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and a CPQ or billing system.
- Ability to read contracts and translate terms into system fields.
- Strong attention to detail and clear written communication skills.
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and build solutions using AI tooling.
- Must be based in San Francisco and able to work in-office.
