About the job
Mistral AI is seeking a talented and experienced Product Manager to define and execute the product strategy for Mistral Vibe, a GenAI-native coding assistant for developers. This is a strategic new product line built on top of high-performance coding AI models. The goal is to make Mistral Vibe the preferred tool for developers and establish it as a market leader. As Product Manager, you will own the product end-to-end, from vision to execution, including defining the product strategy, product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, and growth roadmap. You will work closely with world-class science, engineering, and go-to-market teams to scale adoption across individual developers and enterprises, grow an existing product motion, and contribute to significant revenue streams while enhancing developer productivity and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Set the vision and shape a compelling product strategy for the GenAI-native coding assistant.
- Conduct market and UX research to identify unmet needs, competitive gaps, and emerging trends.
- Validate product direction through direct engagement with customers and partners.
- Drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Partner with design and research to create intuitive, developer-first experiences.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and adoption.
- Align science, engineering, design, and business teams around priorities and trade-offs.
- Maintain a dynamic roadmap that balances quick wins with long-term objectives.
- Act as a product ambassador through customer engagements and industry events.
Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience in high-performing product organizations.
- Deep mastery of product strategy, roadmap definition, market/user research, data analysis, prioritization, and experimentation.
- Proven experience owning product vision and strategy for enterprise-focused products.
- Strong track record defining and executing go-to-market strategies, including pricing and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience launching new products, driving 0 to 1 initiatives, and finding product-market fit.
- Deep understanding of developer-facing products, developer tools, and software engineer workflows.
- Solid understanding of how GenAI and large language models are built, trained, and deployed.
- Experience working closely with AI or applied science teams to translate research into production-ready products.
- Previous experience as a software engineer or strong hands-on engineering background is ideal.
- Direct experience building or scaling LLM-powered products is ideal.
