As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on a marketplace of tools and integrations that enhance Parloa's AI agents, ensuring secure and scalable access to business systems. While experience with our specific stack is not required, a willingness to learn and code in Typescript is essential.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable backend services.
- Optimize system performance for low latency, high throughput, and reliability.
- Collaborate across teams to integrate machine learning components into production systems.
- Lead technical initiatives, including design, planning, implementation, and maintenance.
- Drive initiatives to improve operational excellence.
- Contribute to the evolution of our architecture and engineering culture.
- Set cultural standards for fearless iteration, bias for action, and pragmatic perfectionism.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience in Typescript, Node (ideally NestJS), or comparable frameworks with a willingness to learn Typescript.
- Experience developing and maintaining highly scalable and reliable microservices.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and APIs.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (e.g., Kubernetes, GCP/AWS).
- Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Curiosity and openness to work with AI-assisted coding tools.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous, high-stakes environments with a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience leading technical projects with a 3-9 month horizon.
