OpenEvidence is seeking a Partnerships Lead to drive the deployment of its leading medical AI platform in low- and middle-income countries. This role is for a world-class operator in global health who wants to put the best medical AI into the hands of healthcare workers in resource-constrained settings. You will be responsible for landing flagship deployments, demonstrating their impact, and owning the end-to-end process of bringing this technology to those who need it most. The ideal candidate is a brilliant builder with deep roots in global health, possessing a scrappy, autonomous, and precise approach to building programs from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for flagship global health deployments.
- Grow existing partnerships and identify and onboard new ones.
- Translate partner clinical and operational needs into effective deployment plans for low-connectivity environments.
- Provide on-the-ground insights to product, clinical, and research teams to optimize the platform for global health.
- Run structured programs such as accelerators and cohort-based engagements.
- Support funder and ecosystem engagement to ensure sustainability.
- Set a research agenda for measuring OpenEvidence's impact on health outcomes.
- Partner with external organizations to study efficacy.
- Represent OpenEvidence at global health convenings.
- Help shape team operations as the company scales.
Requirements
- 10+ years in global health, international development, or related fields.
- 5+ years managing external partnerships, grantmaking, or multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Proven experience building programs or organizations from scratch.
- Established relationships with key players at major NGOs, foundations, and ministries of health.
- Deep credibility in the global health ecosystem.
- Direct experience working with organizations in low- and middle-income countries.
- Nuanced understanding of deployment in low-connectivity, low-resource environments.
- Ability to engage credibly on AI concepts and understand LLM capabilities.
- Experience building and running structured programs, potentially in a startup or founding role.
- Experience working with philanthropic foundations on global health initiatives.
- Comfort managing a high volume of partnerships and prioritizing effectively.
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and measure impact.
- Familiarity with global health research and evidence-based interventions.
