NVIDIA is seeking an AI Engineering Manager to join the Finance AI team. This role involves leading a team of AI engineers to develop AI solutions for Finance operations and evaluate external finance AI solutions. You will guide your team in applying technology to solve complex problems, direct agent development, and integrate new tools and technologies. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact by defining the next era of computing through AI within the finance domain.
Responsibilities
- Partner with CFO organization (FP&A, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Procurement) to identify high-value problems and develop AI applications, agents, and automation.
- Define the technical direction and quality standards for AI development and deployment within Finance, incorporating emerging technologies.
- Maintain hands-on involvement by reviewing designs and code, making critical technical decisions, and setting engineering quality standards for agents, retrieval pipelines, and model integrations.
- Lead the end-to-end technical evaluation of new external AI vendors, including defining criteria, conducting POCs, assessing capabilities and costs, and recommending build-vs-buy strategies.
- Scale the team's output and establish reusable components, patterns, and standards to accelerate AI adoption across Finance.
Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams that ship production software, either as a manager, tech lead, or player-coach.
- Hands-on experience building AI systems and a strong understanding of supporting data and system architecture.
- Proven track record of delivering technology solutions for real business problems, preferably in finance or a similar data-rich, regulated industry.
- 10+ years of overall experience in software/AI engineering, including team leadership and technical delivery ownership.
- 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Finance or accounting credentials are a strong plus.
