Vidably is building the evidence layer for commerce, transforming user-generated video content into structured, SKU-level product evidence. This AI-powered system aims to provide the crucial signals needed for shopping agents and enhance customer decision-making by connecting authentic buyer video to product pages. The company is backed by AI Fund and is seeking a hands-on engineer to help make their platform self-serve and reliable across Shopify storefronts.
Responsibilities
- Build and ship across the full stack, including Shopify app, storefront widget, AI extraction pipeline, and internal tooling.
- Harden a live Shopify app and storefront integration, ensuring safe rollouts and easy rollback.
- Extend the mobile web creator upload flow with Mux, covering QR to submission.
- Transform raw buyer video into structured product evidence at scale through AI extraction, review, approval, and self-serve tooling.
Requirements
- Shipped to production across the full stack, demonstrating ability to design, build, debug, and operate.
- Strong fundamentals in performance, reliability, security, and product/UX judgment, especially on conversion-sensitive surfaces.
- Experience shipping production code with agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex CLI).
- Proficiency in using AI for speed while maintaining quality through tests, CI, and observability, with the ability to debug AI output.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and a very small-team environment.
- Eagerness to learn new tools and domains quickly and contribute wherever needed.
