Responsibilities
- Oversee daily HR operations and respond to employee inquiries.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollment and changes.
- Lead HR projects with external vendors to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Ensure legal compliance with employment laws in France, UK, Germany, and Spain.
- Maintain employee handbooks.
- Manage the onboarding process for new joiners, including HR systems and office information.
- Formalize contractual elements throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Update and maintain HR information and tasks.
- Manage immigration requests, including work permits and renewals.
- Prepare and process payroll for employees in EMEA.
- Provide timely information to payroll providers and the Finance team.
- Lead process optimization initiatives for payroll and HR functions.
- Explore, implement, and refine people-related projects and best practices.
- Continuously improve, document, and streamline HR processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of French law and HR policy, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
- Experience managing employee populations across different geographies.
- Experience managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit.
- Thorough understanding of local, national, and international payroll regulations and tax laws.
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Proficiency in streamlining HR processes for efficiency, employee experience, and compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in HR technology solutions (HRIS, Payroll, etc.).
- Hands-on and builder mindset.
