- Maintain a competitive supplier landscape for each category.
- Analyze vendor pricing, usage patterns, and market benchmarks to identify opportunities for economic improvement and risk reduction.
- Lead commercial negotiations with software and infrastructure vendors, covering various agreement types.
- Structure agreements to balance commitment, flexibility, and unit economics.
- Right-size license counts and tiers based on actual utilization.
- Drive redlines on MSAs, order forms, and DPAs in partnership with Legal, Security, and Privacy.

- Coordinate Security, Legal, and Privacy reviews for technology purchases.
- Own the renewal calendar for technology and software vendors.
- Prepare negotiation briefs, utilization analysis, and benchmark data for renewals.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor utilization, handle escalations, and consolidate overlapping tools.
- Track savings and cost avoidance against targets.
- Build AI-powered sourcing playbooks and tooling for redlining, negotiation prep, and benchmarking.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of strategic sourcing or procurement experience with a focus on technology and software categories.
- Proven track record of negotiating enterprise SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or security tooling agreements with major vendors.
- Understanding of software commercial models (per-seat, usage-based, committed spend, tiers, discounts, true-ups).
- Strong analytical skills for unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling, and benchmarking.
- Working knowledge of commercial and legal contract terms (MSAs, order forms, SOWs, DPAs).
- Clear, direct communication skills for executives and negotiations.
- Hands-on experience with a procure-to-pay platform (Zip preferred).
- AI fluency, including active use of AI tools for sourcing tasks.
- Comfort operating at pace in high-volume, ambiguous environments with a bias toward execution.
