Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and maintain full-stack application features and engineering infrastructure for Harvey’s SaaS platform.
- Leverage Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies for performance and scalability.
- Monitor cloud-based engineering infrastructure and implement monitoring/alerting mechanisms.
- Scale large software systems for low-latency, high-volume usage.
- Collaborate with teammates and customers to identify, diagnose, and resolve engineering and product issues.
- Serve in an on-call rotation to manage production escalations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a product-focused, full-stack software engineering role.
- Develop full-stack web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Implement user interfaces using CSS, including TailwindCSS.
- Develop application functionality using Python.
- Explore, leverage and implement AI-first processes and tools to improve engineering quality and velocity.
- Build and maintain fast-growing SaaS applications.
- Leverage Progressive Web Application (PWA) technologies.
- Design and maintain cloud-based software infrastructure, including monitoring and alerting systems.
- Scale large software systems to support low-latency and high-volume usage.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in large software systems and engineering infrastructure.
