Responsibilities

  • Write engaging copy for Harvey's owned social channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, etc.) tailored to each platform's performance.
  • Develop copy for employee and advocacy channels to amplify company announcements and messaging.
  • Create multi-platform content strategies for launches and announcements.
  • Collaborate with the Social Manager on social creative and campaign content planning and execution.
  • Maintain a content calendar balancing planned campaigns with timely posts.
  • Manage the social inbox, responding to DMs, comments, and mentions promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain response guidelines and tone standards for consistent brand voice.
  • Establish triage and escalation paths for customer support, sales, press, and other inquiries.
  • Moderate social communities and comment sections, enforcing guidelines and managing negative sentiment.
  • Proactively engage in relevant industry conversations to build relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Identify, engage, and grow a network of customers and advocates, highlighting their stories.
  • Conduct social listening to track brand mentions, sentiment, competitor activity, and trends.
  • Act as the first line of defense for brand safety on social media.
  • Track and report on content performance and community health metrics.
  • Utilize performance data to refine content and engagement strategies.
  • Share community insights and feedback to inform content strategy and product messaging.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social content, community management, or a related role, preferably in high-growth tech, AI, legal, or agency environments.
  • Exceptional short-form writing skills and editorial judgment, supported by a portfolio of engaging content and community work.
  • Hands-on experience managing brand social inboxes and online communities, including moderation and escalation.
  • A strong understanding of internet culture, online communities, and content virality.
  • Ability to adapt writing style for both brand voice and employee communications.
  • Comfort managing DMs, comments, and mentions with speed and good judgment, including sensitive exchanges.
  • Sound judgment regarding confidentiality, customer privacy, and escalation procedures.
  • Ability to balance real-time engagement with maintaining quality and brand safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high volumes of communication.
  • Experience with social media management, scheduling, and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Brandwatch).
  • Proficiency in using analytics and engagement data to inform content and engagement strategies.
  • Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
