Harvey is seeking an Onboarding Specialist for the EMEA region to transition our onboarding program from operational execution to strategic program design. This role involves contributing to the design of a global onboarding curriculum while also owning the facilitation of onboarding for EMEA cohorts. The goal is to build scalable systems, curriculum, and facilitator infrastructure to support Harvey's rapid global expansion. Responsibilities
- Support the design of onboarding learning content, translating it into structured curriculum with clear learning objectives.
- Develop facilitator playbooks and train-the-trainer materials for consistent onboarding delivery.
- Assist in organizing onboarding materials within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Support the design of differentiated onboarding journeys for various employee groups.
- Contribute to operational automations to enhance program scalability.
- Own the facilitation of onboarding for EMEA cohorts, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and confident.
- Provide regional EMEA insights to inform global program design, including adaptations for compliance, culture, and market specifics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams like Recruiting, Legal, L&D, and Enablement to deliver a superior onboarding experience.
- Create, update, and maintain core onboarding curriculum and materials, ensuring accuracy.
- Gather and implement feedback from new hires and facilitators to improve the program.
- Support EMEA-specific onboarding automations and suggest system enhancements.
Requirements
- 2-4+ years of experience in People Operations, L&D, Enablement, Onboarding, or a related instructional design/facilitation role.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum ownership, not just coordination.
- Hands-on experience in instructional and curriculum design for global audiences, applying adult learning principles.
- Proficiency in adapting learning materials for LMS modules.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
- Confident and engaging facilitator capable of leading sessions for diverse audiences, including executives.
- A data-informed approach, using feedback to drive program iteration.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience launching or scaling onboarding programs in new markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with train-the-trainer methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with building operational automations is a plus.
- Prior startup or high-growth experience is a plus.
- Exposure to global HR operations or multi-entity environments is a plus.
- HRIS experience (Workday or Deel preferred) and familiarity with onboarding workflows and systems is a plus.
